FAQ’s
What should I Bring?
First and foremost, the most important thing you will need for you trip is a Michigan Fishing License. They are available online or at many local retailers. Please bring anything you’d like to eat or drink with the exception of bananas and glass bottles. Bananas are bad luck on a boat and we will not allow them on board. Glass bottles can be hazardous as many people like to wear open toed shoes/sandals while we fish and should the glass break, it can be hazardous for those customers. Please bring small coolers for your food and drinks as larger coolers are difficult for us to work around while fishing. Don’t forget your sunscreen and sunglasses to keep your eyes and skin protected while we’re on the water. As most phones have cameras on them now, you’re welcome to take as many pictures as you’d like so you can remember this trip for a lifetime. Should you have a gopro, or some sort of action camera that you’d like to take videos on, feel free to bring those as well! While the temperature on shore may be very warm and sunny, we can often experience cooler temperatures on the water and encourage customers to bring a light jacket, long pants etc. Please do not wear work boots, hard soled shoes, or any footwear that is muddy on the boat as they scuff the deck and add extra cleanup for the crew at the end of the day. Sandals, tennis shoes, boat shoes, etc. are the preferred footwear and typically most comfortable on those hot, sunny days
Will you clean our fish?
ABSOLUTELY! Your fish will be filleted, rinsed, and bagged in ziplock bags for you to take home and enjoy with family and friends! Please bring a medium-large sized cooler to keep in your vehicle to take your freshly bagged fish home.
